KITS + INSTRUCTION
-The kit cost per person includes free shipping in the US as long as the addresses are provided to Lila at least 14 days prior to the scheduled event.
-Addresses given to Lila less than 14 days prior to the scheduled event will be charged for rush shipping.
-Lila or one of her culinary team members will instruct the class.
VIDEO CONFERENCING
-The client is invited to host the virtual event on a platform of their choosing (ex. Zoom, Google Hangouts, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
-Lila or one of her instructors can host the virtual event on Zoom if the number of attendees is less than 100.
-Video recording ( if requested in advance ) and team photos will be shared with the event organizer. We reserve the rights the recipes and video recording.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
-A 50% deposit is required upon booking a virtual event to secure the date and time.
-Lila Volkas N.C. sends invoices through Square.
-Clients can pay via: credit card (there is a 3.5% processing fee when paying with a credit card), or direct deposit.​-The remainder of the event payment is due no later than 7 days after the event.
CANCELLATION POLICY
-Cancel more than 21 business days before the event: 100% Refund
-Cancel within 15 to 20 business days before the event: 50% Partial Refund
-Within 14 business days before the event: No Refund
-If the client cancels 14 days or later, the deposit can be applied to a future workshop within 6 months of the originally scheduled workshop.
-If the client does not reschedule within 6 months from the originally scheduled workshop, the deposit will be forfeited.
-Shipped kits are non-refundable.
SHIPPING
-Provide the final list of names and addresses to Lila at least 14 days before the scheduled event.
-If the client provides addresses later than 14 days from the scheduled workshop, the client will be responsible for rush shipping.
-Participants will provide their shipping information using the custom google form that Lila provides to the organizer.
-Ensure that all addresses are correct as Lila uses the exact name and address provided in the spreadsheet.

TRACKING
-Tracking information will be emailed to each participant.
-It is the responsibility of the organizer to track that all packages arrive at their proper destinations.
-Lila will provide a master tracking spreadsheet to the organizer upon request.

SHIPPING

We will cover:
-Damaged kits or missing items in your kit. These will be reshipped at no cost as long as they have been reported to Lila within 24 hours of the delivery date for kits with perishable items and 48 hour for kits with non-perishable items.
-If kits are lost in transit by the carrier, the host will split the cost of shipping an additional kit with the client.

We will not cover:
-Package issues reported outside of the designated windows: 24 hours (perishable kits) or 48 hours (non-perishable) of the delivery date.
-Packages delayed by the carrier or weather.
-Packages marked as ‘delivered’ by the carrier.
-Perishable items that are unusable due to negligence.
-Packages that are misplaced or undeliverable due to incorrect, incomplete, or invalid addresses.
-Failed deliveries- someone at the address refused the package or the delivery person could not access the delivery location.
-Packages returned to sender- the carrier attempts delivery or the package is held for customer pickup.
-Issues associated with shipments that were changed after the original submission. This includes holds, reroutes, or changed addresses.​

The customer is responsible for the replacement costs of any packages with the criteria above.
