Kate believes that drinks are all about connection and ritual—not alcohol—and her classes focus on creativity, ease, and enjoyment. Her approach is welcoming, accessible, and always rooted in joy.
Catherine Monahon is a pottery instructor, art educator and small business owner. They run Waveform Ceramics, a clay classroom in Oakland specializing in beginners offering traditional pottery instruction as well as somatic-based clay sessions, pottery teacher trainings, team-building workshops and craft nights. They create arts programming and creative spaces that celebrate everyone's innate creativity, with a focus on body awareness and having fun.
As a former member of the hospitality industry, Kendall has worked as a corporate restaurant trainer, a server, and a service bartender. Now a certified mixologist, Kendall works part-time for mindful drinking company Mighty Kind as a Brand Integrator and Mocktail Program Specialist. A longtime educator, Kendall has shared her passion for mocktails and all things non-alcoholic by teaching mocktail classes in her hometown of St. Louis, creating short educational videos for social media, and conducting tastings for NA brands.
